Shelby's Cleaning, Day Care, & Preschool

For the past year Shelby has had her own 'cleaning, day care, and preschool' business and is starting to learn that you can actually charge for those services. She wanted to charge her Aunt Natalie for the past year for $200. I told her not yet but maybe in about a year or so you can really start 'babysitting.' But she sent a bill to her aunt anyway for a 'hart's run and shopping trip.' She cracks me up. During the week she seriously does cleaning, day care, and preschool; and on Sundays we do primary. Aunt Natalie bought a house that we are helping her clean and she is always asking when she is going to clean. The other day she was asked to babysit Cael so that her aunt could get some cleaning done; well Shelby did both - babysit and clean. She is so amazing and when she is in that 'cleaning mode' you just better take advantage of it. I just hope that she is like this in her teenage years!

6th Place

Tigers took 6th place out of 18 teams! When the coach was handing out the trophies he commented about each boy. The coach said that Morgan listened to instructions. Morgan who? Was he talking about my son? Congratulations Tigers. State here we come.

Finally, sun! But they say it isn't going to last long. Morgan's baseball team played another game last night and won! Since they won that game we were told that we are going to state! And we had a double header because of the win. Unfortunately, we lost the second game but play one more game to place for either fifth or sixth! The team is so excited about going to state and the parents are still in shock. Go Tigers!

Rain, Rain Go Away!

What is up with this rain? It's summer. Where is the sun? I want to go to the pool. I want to see sun. Anyway, the games and shows must go on with the rain. We did our 4-H show on Monday in rain and had to wait out the rain for our baseball tournament last night. By the way, Morgan's baseball team made it to the tournamet. We had a double header last night because we won. Now we have a game on Monday. Go Tigers!
