Remember

A single Red Rose, Created by Him above.
A single Rose that to you shows His love.
A Rose with petals soft and delicate to feel.
Like His love for you; soft and gentle.
So warm and real.
The color is Red to remind us that for us He bled.
In Gethsemane for us He suffered,
And yet He said,
'Thy will be done. This pathway
I will walk alone.'
For each of us He bled and
suffered, Our sins to atone.
Remember each time we see the
Red Rose he gives
That it was for us He died, and
for us He lives.
He marked that path and led the
straight and narrow way.
May we remember and follow His
Example each day.
A Red Rose he has for each
And everyone.
May we dwell with Him in that
Garden of Roses when life is done.

"Miley Cyrus surprises movie-goers at Utah theater"

I can't believe this. Miley Cyrus was in Utah today. When trying to decide which movie theatre to go to I really seriously thought about going to the 'The District' in South Jordan for the 3:30 pm showing. But I didn't think that we would make it in time after we got Morgan off to the rodeo. So, I am reading the news on ksl.com and guess what. Miley and Billy made a surprise visit to 'The District' movie theatre in South Jordan at the 3:30 pm showing. Ugh. First we can't get tickets to her concert at the freedom festival and then I decide to stay at home (Thanksgiving Point) to watch the movie. That is just my luck.

Hannah Montana

I gave myself the 'Coolest Mom in the World' award today! Morgan was invited to go to a high school rodeo with his Uncle John (he is a pick up man) so I thought, 'a girls night out.' I decided to take Shelby to the new Hannah Montana movie that opened today so I got online to purchase tickets. Boy, was I glad that I purchased online and early because there were only about 6 good seats left to choose from. By the time the movie started at 4:30 pm the theatre was packed. Thank heavens for reserved seating theatres and for being able to purchase online. However, I wasn't the only 'coolest mom in the world.' And there were about a dozen 'coolest dads in the world' to. The row behind us had about 10 girls in the group; a birthday party. Anyway, if you are thinking of going to see the movie it was good, just like her tv show. It was very family oriented and had a good message to. But I would purchase tickets online and go to a theatre where you can pick/reserve your seats. I love my Hannah!
