Dance Recital

Our 2nd Christmas Dance Recital with Showcase USA. Shelby's class sang 'I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clause.' She got to hold the microphone and sing in it the whole dance! She was so excited that we practiced with the vacuum. She was also excited to keep the black gloves.

Sleepover with Cael

We had the opportunity to have Cael spend a few nights/days with us while his parents went to Las Vegas for the National Finals Rodeo. His first word in the morning is 'Shelby.'

Needless to say it was gone the moment I saw it.

Bowling

My kids and I went bowling last night for one of the Random Fun Activities with the Lehi Mid Single Adult Cluster. It was Shelby's first time bowling and she was more concerned about the shoes. She asked, "Do I have to wear these shoes?" She actually won the first game with a score of 125. However, she did have help with the bumpers and the glider. Morgan was scored a 102 and he had help with just the bumpers. I unfortunately scored a 65 and I didn't even use any help. The second game Shelby didn't play she got bored. Morgan scored a 112; improved his score from the first game; still used the bumpers. I improved my game as well with the help of bumpers; I got a 97. Morgan said as we were leaving the bowling alley that we should come again but just the family. Good family home evening and activity! So, family, bowling anyone?

Morgan's Hand Update

It has been almost three months since Morgan's accident and we finally got a 'clean bill of health' from the hand surgeon. Still have to do physical therapy with the therapist and at home but his hand is improving. Thank you to all of those who have helped in any way and for your support. Here are pictures of his healing...

Day at the Park

A couple of weeks ago I spent the afternoon at the park with my kids and babysitting my nephews ~ Owen (3) and Will (18 m). I think it was the last day of sun and warmth.....

General Conference Weekend

Saturday was a beautiful day that it motivated me to go start working out, again. My little sister, Natalie, and I went to the gym and did a Zumba class. I learned a dance for every culture/country. My hips don't move like they use to. It made me miss drill team. Then I came home and did yard work. While I did yard work, Shelby and Cael were in the house cleaning (Cael loves to clean).....

Sunday I woke up to rain. So typical of general conference weekends. Loved the talks and time with family. My dad and kids cooked us breakfast.....

Monday was professional development day for my kids so I stayed home to spend time with them. Ha. Morgan worked on the farm with grandpa and Shelby had her moments. But I did plan this weeks meals and went to Walmart to get groceries and halloween costumes. Came home and made dinner, then went through one of my scrapbooks (thanks mom!) with Shelby. Then Natalie and I went and did a Pump class at the gym. Don't know if I will be able to get out of bed in the morning. But it will all be worth it. Right?
